Alligators and sunshine -- that is a good description for Orlando, Florida! On that note, Thaddeus and I had to experience a place called Gatorland - - the name really fits.
As you can see, they have a couple of gators here...
In Dallas, he ran with the bulls...in Orlando, he had no fear and wrestled the first gator that crossed his path...
and paid for it...
Albino crocs...check 'em out...
Some of the fellas that have gone to Crocodile Heaven...
So Gatorland has ziplines...and I was totally scared to try that madness...but Thaddeus of course wasn't...
My boy ready for the zip...
In the zip...
And then he got stuck...
And had to get rescued by the zip team...
But the gift that blew us both away was meeting this little girl...
Her name is Josselyn, 4 years old, she lost one of her legs...yeah, it's sad, but she was at Gatorland courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, AND she zipped!
She was definitely mine and Thaddeus hero!!! Josselyn, you ROCK!
Well...I had to eat some Gator before I left...so I did...
Gator bites...
...and Gator nuggets...
This place reminded me of Homeboy Industries...enemies chillin' side by side...
And we say goodbye to Gatorland...
...and hello to SPI 2012...
Your boys reppin that HBI!
We registered and walked the Orange County Convention Center as they prepped for the big show...
Let's see what we get ourselves into tomorrow...stay tuned.
